Up Next: “And Then There Were None” by Agatha Christie

And Then There Were NoneI just finished the final installment to the Wheel of Time early this morning (around 2:00  a.m.) and so now I’m on to the next book on the list. This time I’ll be tackling the assigned book for January in my little semi-formal office book club, And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie.

This book was recommended/chosen by one of the other members of the club and I have absolutely no idea what to expect. I’ve never read an Agatha Christie novel before, this certainly isn’t my usual genre choice, and it looks to be fairly short. According to my Kindle Paperwhite I will finish reading it in about 2 hours and 47 minutes if I read at my standard pace.

 

Ten people, each with something to hide and something to fear, are invited to a lonely mansion on Indian Island by a host who, surprisingly, fails to appear. On the island they are cut off from everything but each other and the inescapable shadows of their own past lives. One by one, the guests share the darkest secrets of their wicked pasts. And one by one, they die…
